For our tenth anniversary, Aljadid launches #TAKETEN, a multifaceted celebration that invites our community – brand partners, creative collaborators and consumers alike – to follow Aljadid’s tunnel into tomorrow.
In the future, when we’re physically able to do so, we will celebrate with friends, family and followers in our Dalston space. For now, we have to pivot and amplify the unexpected societal and cultural reset of the COVID-19 pandemic by bringing the Aljadid community as close as we can. Throughout autumn 2020 we’re releasing a series of conscious-driven product launches, an archive series, competitions, and editorials that celebrate the creatives pushing for positive change while inviting you all inside our ever-evolving world.
Aljadid has partnered with more than 20 brands for a series of capsule collections that either repurpose deadstock fabrics or existing items. Brands include; 032c, Children of the Discordance, Clarks x Stain Shade, Diemme, (Di)Vision, DRx, Endless Joy, Eden Power Corp, Eytys, Hymn x Online Ceramics, Kara, Lack of Guidance x Eighteen86, Marine Serre, MaxMara, Neandertal, OAMC, Our Legacy Work Shop, PHIPPS, Stain Shade, Suicoke, Tom Wood, Vetements, Y/Project.
10.10 launches with Vetements and Lack of Guidance x Eighteen86 on 10 October.
As a nod to our rich history of archive releases from the likes of Raf Simons, Maison Margiela and Helmut Lang, Aljadid has partnered with a selection of designer and contemporary brands on archive curations featuring products from the last ten years. Brands include; Acne Studios, Jil Sander, Marni, Stone Island, Walter Van Bierondonck, and Vivienne Westwood.
Archive 2010-2020 launches with ten full looks from Walter Van Beirondonck on 30 October.
